Home again, home again ...

So I thought I've done a lot of "hard" things in my life.
This was definitely one of the very hardest.
Just knowing I wasn't going to see this little guy again until Thanksgiving.
Knowing how much he's going to grow and change between now and then.
Talk about feeling your heart breaking right in your chest...

I tried putting him in my carry on bag. He would have fit.
His momma said I couldn't take him. Greedy little girl!

Memories were made that will have to sustain me for these next five months.
Then Benjamin will come to Grandma's house. Think I need to start counting down the days!

  1. He's precious. So sorry you won't see him again till November. That does suck!

  5. Aww, Donna I just read through the last 8 or 10 blog posts here and I think you are holding that baby in EVERY picture! So sweet. My own mother lives across the country from me (which is why my block for you got made last night!) and it's hard to take the boys away from her at the end of a visit. Mine are 14 months and 4 years and it's still hard, I'm sorry to say.

  6. My heart broke a little for you when I read your blog. What an absolutely beautiful baby. There is nothing in the world that comes close to being a grandma. Just a couple more months and you will be holding him again!

  7. Oh that breaks my heart! Its always so sad when we leave Grandmothers house with my little Benjamin. We live clear across the country and its awful! Babies grow up way too fast to live so far. :) Thanks for stopping by and linking! -Allison
